As VIP Auto Accessories grew, the marketing team was tasked with showcasing what all we had to offer online. We started with revamping an old project that was meant to sell apparel to the local dealerships and soccer clubs. We took that platform, Shopping Cart Elite, and created the base for what is now a successful eCommerce Business.
Another unique aspect of this company is that it started off as a “Mom & Pop” vehicle customization shop that was partnered with nearby dealerships. Slowly over time, as clients built up, the company grew into a one stop shop for anything automotive. With B2B covered, this allowed my team to focus on the B2C side of the business.
Unfortunately this left our current setup unprepared to create clear differences in what products can be shipped to your door, or what can be installed locally at VIP. This started the planning of a complete multi-site cleanup and restructure. That way the user knows what the company actually offers to locals and what can be shipped right to your front door.
In the end, the project successfully made clear differences in what is available to local customers with a suite of landing pages, an optimized Shopify website, and clear messaging across the board. This resulted in our marketing team going from an expense to a six-figure business within a year.
I always look back at this project as one of my favorites. The amount of planning, time, coffee, meetings, and emails that went into it paid off the moment we received our first sale.
